I believe everyone is different when it comes to water. I do believe that most need about 8 glasses a day although some need more. I will cramp if I do not consume at least a gallon a day and if exersizing vigorusly then 2 gallons is necessary. I also only used purified water.

Thanks for the site its great.

@Bradley - Yes, one of the great benefits of drinking water is that it really cuts down on hunger. That makes it easier to make better food choices.

It seems like there are so many benefits to drinking water that it is hard to keep up with them all. Fortunately, I don't have to know them to experience them. I just have to remember to keep drinking the water ;-)

This is a really great post. I don't think that most people realize how important it is to get adequte water. I try to consume at least 64 ounces at a minimum a day, often more. I really feel better not having the sugar highs from carbonated beverages plus I don't feel as hungry all the time.

@Bill - Wow! Thanks for that interesting comment. I prefer my water closer to room temperature. I remember reading a long time ago that room temperature water was better for you but I couldn't remember why. I'm glad you cleared that up.

Hey guys, I love the Daily 1 minute fitness tips. Excellent idea and excellent information for your readers like. I'd like to add to your water discussion and have discovered room temperature water is better to drink than icy cold water. Its my understanding the body must warm the water up before it can be absorbed so if you are working out hard your better off with room temperature water this way the water is more easily absorbed.

Have A Great Day!
